Children and Age
Effective: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
24 Frames is for people aged [MINIMUM AGE] and over. It is not a children's service, and we never knowingly create an account for anyone under 13. This page explains the minimum age, what we do with the age range you give us, what the "made for kids" and "adults only" labels mean, and how a parent or guardian can have a child's account removed.
Minimum age
You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE] to create a 24 Frames account. When you sign up you tell us your age range. If you tell us you are under 13, or we learn that you are, we will not open the account, or we will close it if it already exists. We ask for an age range rather than a date of birth because we do not need your exact birthday to apply these rules. The Terms of Service say what else you agree to when you open an account.
24 Frames is not directed at children
We do not design 24 Frames for children, we do not market it to children, and it is intended for a mature audience. There is no children's mode. A parent who lets a child use their own account is responsible for what that child sees and does.
Titles marked "made for kids"
Creators must declare, when they publish, whether a title is made for kids. The declaration matters in one concrete way today: we do not serve ads on titles marked "made for kids". The label is for content suitable for children and likely to attract them, such as cartoons or nursery songs. It does not turn 24 Frames into a children's service, and it does not mean a child may hold an account. Creators who lie in this declaration break the Creator Terms and the Content Policy.
Titles marked "adults only"
Creators must also declare whether a title is for adults only, because of sexual content, graphic violence, drugs or similar themes. Such titles are allowed within the limits of our Content Policy. They are not for anyone under 18.
The rule for accounts under 18
If your account tells us you are under 18, we do not show you titles marked "adults only" and we do not show you advertising. This is the rule we hold ourselves to. We are bringing our systems into line with it; until that work is finished, the age range you give us is the signal we rely on. If you see something you should not have, report it in the app or email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
Parents and guardians
If you believe your child has a 24 Frames account and want it removed, email [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL] with the phone number on the account. We will check that you are the parent or guardian, usually by confirming the phone number, and remove the account and the information attached to it within [DATA REQUEST RESPONSE PERIOD]. The Privacy Policy explains what we hold and what removal covers.
For a general concern about a child's safety on 24 Frames, report the video or channel in the app, or email [SUPPORT EMAIL]. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first.
What we collect from young people
We collect the same information from every account holder and nothing extra from younger people. We do not sell anyone's information, we use no ad networks, and ads are never chosen from anyone's age or profile. The Privacy Policy has the full picture.
